Living in NZ

So I wanted to go out and get a brand new toyota hilux surf…Something big and fast…However I ended up with a 1992 surf with a few marks and a hell of a lot of Km’s on the clock ( 300,000 )

Being the mechanical kind of guy I am it didn’t take long for me to need to do a little work on it, So with the help from my assistant we set about making the truck look and work better…..I think the boy may have a future on a formula 1 team !!!

As a birthday treat for Blair we took him for a kayak paddle along the puhoi to wenderholm river, A lovely little river with a tidal flow in the valley of some of the tallest hills I have ever seen. A great afternoon of paddling all washed down with a picnic at the beach!

For a treat Sue went and had a day climbing around in the tree’s of woodhill forest with friends of her’s. It just so happens that I have my mountain bike in the truck too as its where I have my local trails…very convenient !

As most of you know we have been spending a fair amount of time at the beach, here is just a glimpse of why we love it so much!
